OTV Project

2026 · ENES100, UMD Keystone Program

Programmed an autonomous robotic vehicle to navigate an obstacle course using Arduino code and an ESP32 microcontroller, developing functions for driving, turning, and obstacle avoidance via ultrasonic sensor. Overcame the limitations of two-wheel drive with adaptive turning. Coordinated with a team of 8 to deliver a final product that met all 6 objectives, including object retrieval via linear actuator and magnetic detection with a Hall Effect sensor. Presented the final product at end-of-semester robotics showcase.

Cyclops

2026 · UMD Leatherbacks Combat Robotics

Designed and built an original 1-lb remote-controlled combat robotic vehicle using CAD, 3D printing, mechanical assembly, and electrical integration; piloted the finished robot in university-wide competition. Engineered structural components in CAD, manufactured parts using 3D printing, wired and soldered electronic systems including motors, radio receiver, and ESC, and completed mechanical integration.

Post-Quantum Secure Pharmacovigilance

2026 · Do Quantum Life Sciences Team

With a team of 5, used Python to simulate up to 10 MB of synthetic pharmaceutical data, applying data analysis and post-quantum encryption techniques (ML-KEM and ML-DSA) as a proof of concept to secure confidential data. Analyzed proof-of-concept performance and co-authored a research paper accepted to arXiv.org. Presented the project proposal and technical results at a quantum research symposium.
